sparkling 7″ single from mr. wiese, someone whom i’m increasingly finding an essential artist in the cut-up noise genre… i don’t see why fans of venetian snares et.al aren’t all over this guy as he’s making of the most high-energy million-edit-per-second blasts of distorted computer sound. this ep is the first wiese release on the new, tiny meudiademorte label, and is limited to the point that i’m not going to spend much more time writing this blurb here given the amount of copies i was alotted. it’s very good, and if you’re feeling john’s work, buy it. – mimaroglu music

This release draws attention to the incomplete nature of the songwriter’s final recordings, a reminder that polish isn’t necessary to achieve beauty and brilliance. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 5, 2020
